How to

Morgan Hill Neighborhood Group  We meet at Joy’s home in Morgan Hill. We love to talk about sewing and anything related to the art of sewing. We meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 10am. All are more than welcome to come and enjoy making new friends.

Menlo Mornings Neighborhood Group  We meet the third Friday of every month except December at the home and studio of Kathleen  in Menlo Park from 10 am to Noon. We are a group that focuses exclusively on fashion sewing including various designer and independent pattern companies along with fashion accessories. We welcome all that have garment sewing as their interest and passion but ask that you RSVP to us so we will have sufficient chairs for all that attend.

Saturday Morning Neighborhood Group  We are a small evening group meeting at various members' homes. Each month we feature an optional sewing related challenge--including our brown bag swap and Christmas gift ex-change. We enjoy sharing our frustrations and bragging about our accomplishments during show-n-tell and then indulge in dessert before we leave!

Chapter members may attend any or all neighborhood groups, and are encouraged to bring their completed or not so completed sewing projects to neighborhood group (NG) meetings for show and tell. If you are planning to attend a different NG than your usual one, it is advisable to call ahead or check the website for possible updates, and to verify the meeting and location. A NG may take a field trip, change location, have limited seating or a date change.

Each Neighborhood Group has different objectives. Some are general interest, some focus on a particular aspect of sewing or type of sewing. Listed below is a summary of each groups style. A schedule of the Neighborhood meetings can be found at NG Meeting & Events.
